Norm
Bouchard, B.A., philosophy, Master of Divinity, Pastoral Care
Degree, CSA
A much sought after motivational speaker, Norm is a lifestyle
humorist. He is entertaining and informative, using the human
condition as the focus of his message. His teaching style enables
people to closely examine their assumptions about what they know.
His unique blend of humor, story telling and music brings an intensity
of feeling to the audience that implants a clear message through
a memorable experience. He integrates senior lifestyle issues
with an expression of their spiritual and ethical needs. Norm
has worked with some of the top 500 Fortune companies and groups
such as the Home Care Association of Colorado, Weight Watchers,
National Association of Hospital Volunteers, Nole Pharmaceuticals,
Blue Cross and Blue Shield, National Association of County Treasurers,
US West, MCI, National Association of Hospital Volunteers, National
Home Care Association, Prudential, National Association of Insurance
and Financial Advisors, and Hospice. He is an adjunct faculty
member for University of Northern Colorado. Norm presently serves
as Vice President of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors
and teaches on the national faculty.

Raymond Ferrara, CFP
Ray Ferrara is a Certified Financial Planner with more than 32
years in the financial service industry. He is currently the President
and CEO of ProVise Management Group, Inc. ProVise Management Group,
Inc. was established in 1986 and has received such prestigious
awards as Small Business of the Year for the year 2001 from Clearwater
Regional Chamber of Commerce. Ray speaks to civic and professional
organizations throughout the United States and in Europe. For
10 years, he hosted a radio show called Talking Money. Ray also
creates articles, video and cassette tapes and seminars on a variety
of financial topics.
George
Kerin, B.A., MSW, CSA
George Kerin is a national presenter for Society of Certified
Senior Advisors and teaches in the Geriatric Certification Program
offered at the University of Denver. A graduate of Notre Dame
and the University of Denver, he spent a 31-year career at Fort
Logan Mental Health Center in Denver where he served as division
chief of both the geriatric and the children and adolescent divisions.
He is a consultant and trainer in many areas of mental health,
including gerontology and forensics. George is president of the
Mental Health Section of the Colorado Gerontological Society,
chairman of the Professional Standards Review Organization Long-Term
Care Steering Committee and the Colorado representative to the
Mental Health Services to the Aging Association.
Edwin
J. Pittock, CSA
A Nationally recognized speaker on senior demographics and marketing
to seniors, Pittock serves as President of SOCSA. Prior to founding
SOCSA, Pittock served as president of a senior benefit association
that provided services and discounts on products that benefited
older adults.
Donna
Sylvester, CSA, B.S.N., M.S.N.
Donna Sylvester has an extensive healthcare background that includes
military nursing, research and publication. As director of nursing
for an acute long term care hospital, she served on the medical
ethics committee and worked with seniors facing chronic illness
and end of life treatment decisions.
Donna served as director of education for Society of Certified
Senior Advisors where she continues to teach and write for the
quarterly journal and Senior Spirit newsletter. She is a charter
member of the Colorado Alliance for Geriatric Care Managers, American
Nursing Association and American Society on Aging.
Sharil
Baxter, CSA, B.S., M.S.
Sharil Baxter serves as the National Education Officer and Kansas
City Sales Manager for LTCI Partners, LLC, a national long-term
care insurance brokerage firm. She has a Bachelors Degree
in Education and a Masters Degree in Management. Her articles
on long-term care insurance have appeared in several industry
publications including Broker World and Broker News. She is the
former Executive Director of the countrys oldest hospice.
Sharil has earned the CLTC, MHP, CTM, LTCP and RHU designations.
Bill
Comfort, CSA, CLTC
Bill Comfort is a general Life & Health agent, whose specialty
is Long Term Care. He is the owner of Comfort Assurance Group,
LLC, and a national Master Class trainer for the Corporation for
Long-Term Care Certification (CLTC). Bill, a 12-year veteran of
the insurance industry, has personally trained more than 1,500
insurance agents, financial planners, CPAs and attorneys. A former
TV and radio reporter, he brings his journalism experience to
the complicated world of long-term care planning as a dynamic
speaker, educator and insurance planner.
Howard
S. Krooks, J.D.
Howard Krooks is a Certified Elder Law Attorney and a partner
in the law firm of Littman Krooks, LLP. Howard is an Adjunct Assistant
Professor at New York Universitys School of Continuing and
Professional Studies, where he teaches a course on asset protection
planning. He has authored and co-authored columns for the Health
Law Journal and the Elder Law Attorney, both published by the
New York State Bar Association. Howard also serves as the Chair-Elect
of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association
and is the former chair of the Public Relations Committee of the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Kathleen
Lenover, CSA, CFP, MEd, CEPP
Kathleen Lenover is the president and owner of KTL Financial Group,
Inc., a Denver-based boutique financial planning firm that specializes
in working with seniors and baby boomers. A Certified Estate Planning
Professional, she has over 21 years of experience as a financial
advisor. She is a registered investment advisor affiliated with
SunAmerica Securities, Inc. Kathleen is a returning national faculty
member who helped establish the high standard for CSAs classes
during the Societys early years.
Judie
Rappaport, CSA
Judie Rappaport specializes in the fields of both eldercare and
marketing to seniors. She founded one of the first geriatric care
management companies in the U.S. and is currently a partner in
the firm, Preferred Client Services. She obtained the state of
Floridas highest level of Alzheimers training. Judie
is the author of Eldercare 911: The Caregivers Complete
Handbook for Making Decisions, and the Eldercare 911 Internet
newsletter. Her articles have appeared in SOCSAs Journal,
Life Insurance Selling, Trusts & Estates magazine, the Marquette
University Law Schools Elder Advisor, and other publications.
She is also President of the marketing consulting firm, Advantage
50 Plus.
